Last week saw the launch of the Rock Band Network, a new creator driven marketplace for Rock Band tracks. Already running strong at well over 100 downloadable songs, the Network looks like it will be pushing out new songs at an even brisker pace than the standard Rock Band songs have been appearing. Due to the huge volume of music RBN will provide, we won’t be covering those releases regularly. Instead, we’ll be sticking with the regular Rock Band announcements like we’ve always done.
This week’s new releases on Rock Band include a track pack from the White Stripes, as well as singles from the Futureheads, the James Gang, Neil Peart, and Shaimus. The White Stripes pack costs $5.49 (440 Microsoft Points), while each individual song is $1.99 (160 Microsoft Points). All the tracks are available today on the Xbox 360 and Wii, and they will be on the Playstation 3 on Thursday. Here’s the full listing, with videos:
