Did you purchase a copy of Rock Band 2? If so, you’ll have 20 new downloadable songs coming your way for free this week. Sure, they aren’t by A-list bands, but there are some good tunes by indie bands included, and hey, free’s free, right? Here’s how it works: Just go to the Harmonix website and follow the instructions that were included in your copy of Rock Band 2. Shortly you should be receiving a code by e-mail to allow you to download a pack containing the following songs:
- The 88 – “Sons and Daughters”
- Authority Zero – “No Regrets”
- Between the Buried and Me – “Prequel To The Sequel”
- The Cab – “Bounce”
- The Chevelles – “Get It On”
- The Cocktail Slippers – “Give It To Me”
- Dealership – “Database Corrupted”
- Endeverafter – “I Wanna Be Your Man”
- The Ghost Hounds – “Ashes To Fire”
- Hollywood Undead – “Young”
- Kutless – “The Feeling”
- The Len Price 3 – “If I Ain’t Got You”
- Lesley Roy – “I’m Gone, I’m Going”
- Opiate for the Masses – “Burn You Down”
- Semi-Precious Weapons – “Magnetic Baby”
- Shaimus – “Like a Fool”
- Thenewno2″ – Crazy Tuesday”
- Tickle Me Pink – “The Time Is Wrong”
- Underoath – “Desperate Times, Desperate Measures”
- X Japan – “I.V.”
And if indie’s not your thing, you’ll be able to purchase the next full album release next week, featuring The Colour and the Shape by the Foo Fighters. I doubt I’ll be grabbing the full album, but you can bet I’ll be rocking some “Monkey Wrench” on Tuesday.
