Pat Hingle Passes Away

Pat Hingle, best known to comics fans as Commissioner Gordon from Batman, Batman Returns, Batman Forever, and Batman & Robin, passed away on Saturday. Hingle had been diagnosed with myelodysplastic in 2006 and was 84 at the time of his death. Along with Michael Gough (Alfred), Hingle was the only actor to appear in all four of the Burton / Schumacher Batman movies.
