The next installment in the venerable Final Fantasy franchise, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII, isn’t hitting western stores until February 11, 2014, but you can bet we’ll be seeing a lot of it at next week’s E3. Square Enix sent over the game’s newest trailer, which shows off some new settings and monsters, as well as the game’s new battle system.
Lightning Returns has been confirmed for release on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, but there’s no mention in the press release of whether it also will be appearing on next-gen consoles as well.
