Well, now I’m finally caught up on all of the music videos I’ve been accumulating over the past several months. But expect more soon, I’m sure! And, again, I didn’t label explicit tracks individually (yeah, I’m lazy, so sue me!), so consider this your warning.
Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer – “Dammit It Feels Good to Be a Chap”
Indeed it does, Mr B. Indeed it does!
Mega Ran – “Mackerel Sky” (feat. RoQy TyRaiD)
I’m really looking forward to hearing the whole story behind this track. It’s a definite stand-out from the amazing RNDM.
Alison Blaire – “The Sight of the Sound”
If you’re thinking, “Hey, wait, that name sounds familiar,” you’re not wrong. This is pretty much exactly what I think Dazzler’s music would sound like. Be sure to check out the sequel, “I Will Steal Your Heart” (which I encountered first on io9), as well. Good stuff!
MC Frontalot – “Mornings Come And Go” (feat. Marian Call)
Wow, this video needs multiple viewings. There’s so much going on. I love the update of the old story into a new idiom. Brilliant!
Broken Pixels – “Street Fighter V Rap ( RISE UP )” (feat. Tekforce)
I loved the old school Street Fighter II, and this song makes me want to pick up the new one.
The Doubleclicks – “Protocol (C-3PO’s Lament)”
Oh, man, C-3PO totally got a raw deal, didn’t he? I mean, he can totally talk and everything, but we all love R2-D2 and BB-8 way more. Hmmm, perhaps there’s a metaphor there, somewhere… Nah… Couldn’t be that…
Marc With a C – “Ethics In Gaming”
When you say you’re better than someone else, you end up unintentionally marginalizing others. I’m still pretty sure there’s an indirect comparison to a certain group of individuals on the Internet implicit in this track.
Bonecage – “Giant Purple Dildo”
Life is tough when you’re a giant purple dildo. Um, yeah, well… Uh… Yeah, I got nothin’…
Kirby Krackle – “Gotta Get Back”
There’s a Kirby Krackle song on the new GotG cartoon’s soundtrack. Yeah, that’s freakin’ awesome! ‘Nuff said!
Nerf Herder – “At the Con”
Nerf Herder have fully embraced their geeky roots, and this lyric video from their latest album, Rockingham (which you should definitely check out), showcases the amazing artwork of Len Peralta. So cool!
More or Les and Recordface – “Heads Down”
Yeah, this pretty much sums up modern society. And, like More or Les himself, I’m just as guilty. Be sure to check out the DJ Pack with a radio edit, instrumental, and the previously unreleased song “Drugs” as well.
the great Luke Ski – “It’s Good to be the King” (feat. Insane Ian, Devo Spice, and Bud Sharpe)
Celebrate the movies of Mel Brooks with artists from the FuMP in this cool clips video for the great Luke Ski’s parody of Run DMC.
