On this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk to Austin and Nathan from Smashy Claw. I only recently discovered this band via Insane Ian’s recommendation, and I quickly gave their album, Former Spine, an Honorable Mention of my favorite albums of 2014 (since it came out in 2013). They show a clear influence from one of my favorite bands, They Might Be Giants, both lyrically and musically.

In this episode, we talk about Nanobots, the ending of The Killing Joke, Breaking Bad (again), and which Iron Man is the best. Unfortunately, this episode is going up just after Austin’s solo show at the University of Colorado-Denver on Feb. 24th, so I can’t promote that. I hope it went well for him.
