In this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk to one of my favorite geeky artists, Marc with a C. I first became a fan of Marc’s when he released Mother****ers Be Bull****tin’ back in 2011 (needless to say, this podcast is labeled “Explicit” for a reason), although I probably saw him at Nerdapalooza 2010 when I had almost no idea who anyone was. But it was really his next full length album, Popular Music, that made me into the rabid fan I am today. I’ve since gone back and bought everything I can get my hands on, including all of the vinyl albums. In fact, Marc is the one who showed me how great vinyl can be.
In this interview, we talk about his new album, Exactly Where I Am, the nerd music tribe, bad movies (especially Nightmare on Elm Street), and even why Marc is perpetually blue (and if you get that reference before listening, then give yourself 10 geek points).
