In this episode of the Fandomania: Geek Music podcast, I talk to three of the members of The Mad Gear. Their latest release is a soundtrack for a video game based on them, Go Right and Fight. As the name implies, it’s a cool 8-bit game reminiscent of Double Dragon and Ninja Gaiden but with its own twists on the genre. And the soundtrack fits perfectly, too.

Songs played in the show:

  • “Simon’s Theme”
  • “Act 1: Gonna Be a Jailbreak” – from the Go Right and Fight soundtrack
  • “Guile’s Theme”

Links from the show:

  • The Mad Gear Main Page – even their webpage is retro!
  • The Mad Gear Bandcamp
  • The Mad Gear YouTube – includes the videos we mention in the episode
  • Go Right and Fight game
