While I may not be going to PAX again this year due to last-minute personal kerfluffles, that doesn’t mean I don’t have a few new things to share with the wonderful Fandomania readers about gaming. We were lucky enough to get a few images of some of the assets and goodies you’ll find in the upcoming Final Fantasy XIV Collector’s Edition boxset. There’s also a new trailer out for the game, as you’ll see below.

Final Fantasy XIV is set to launch September 22nd, 2010 for PC as a Collector’s Edition, and September 30th, 2010 for PC for the Standard Edition. If you’re going to PAX, both versions will be available at the Square Enix booth for hands-on gameplay. The Square Enix booth is located on Level 4, Booth #3633 this year, and PAX will be running from September 3-5, 2010.

About the Author
Summer has been a comic book junkie since the age of 13 when she stole her 7-year old brother's first three issues of the Claremont/Lee run of the X-Men. On his birthday. Right after he unwrapped them. It's been all downhill from then on.

Besides being way too into comics, Summer enjoys nerding out over various movies and television shows (Supernatural, Lost, and Doctor Who to mention a few), listening to music, and adding to her massive book collection.

Currently, she's looking for a college or university where she can finish her double major in Art History and Art Therapy and getting her work into various art galleries, all while trying to survive working in a cubicle jungle.
