Your wait for new Doctor Who episodes will end in just under two months, as BBC has announced that the next season premieres on August 23, 2014. It will be airing on both BBC and BBC America on that date, so American Whovians won’t have to worry about falling behind their UK brethren. In the feature length premiere, Peter Capaldi will begin his tenure as the Twelfth Doctor, joined by returning companion Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman). Capaldi’s debut episode is called “Deep Breath,” and here’s the teaser trailer.
