It’s two weeks until Valentine’s Day and it’s a good time to think about crushes. We’ve all heard that nice guys finish last but that’s isn’t exactly true. Some of the best crushworthy characters are just sweethearts. So here are my picks of the best of the nice guys and gals of the crushworthy collection.
1. Jem Carstairs (The Infernal Devices)
Jem is a violin-playing, tea-drinking gentleman. He is gentle and always treats Tessa with love and respect. Also, still waters run deep with him. He may be a nice guy but he has a fiery streak underneath that calm exterior.
2. Yuna (Final Fantasy X and X-2)
Yuna may have gotten a sassy upgrade for X-2 but she’s always the kind, strong summoner from Besaid. She always thinks about others before herself and tries to keep everyone’s spirits up.
3. Joscelin Verreuil (Kushiel’s Legacy)

He may be a warrior priest, but Joscelin is still a nice guy. He is modest and humble (mostly) and would protect Phèdre with his last breath. He loves kids and the simple pleasures in life. Joscelin’s idea of a good time is fishing.
4. Felicity Smoak (Arrow)
Our resident tech girl hero still maintains her integrity, after all her dealings with the criminal underworld via Oliver. She still tries to keep everyone smiling and is the cheerleader for Team Arrow. Oliver has finally started to appreciate what a gem she is.
5. Jamie Fraser (Outlander)
Ah, Jamie is a nice guy in a kilt. He will fight for your honor and marry you to save you from villainous army captains. Jamie may hold to some of the more violent highlander tendencies, but he is a big softie at heart.
