The Charmed Ones continue their adventure in Issue #10 of the comic. When last we left the sisters, Piper was lost and had just met up with Cole, while her sisters and husband were left to wonder how they could ever get her back. And then we jumped straight into the story again, but it seems we missed some explanation in between.

As we kick off this issue, I became a bit lost. Thinking that I had just forgotten a plot point, I actually went back to the prior issue to double-check, but I was right. We were never privy to the plan that Leo and Paige use a glamour spell to appear as demons in order to infiltrate Neena’s group. But like all powerful beings, she saw right through that plan. Why are the Charmed Ones underestimating her power? She’s the First Witch, after all. And meanwhile, Piper is hanging out with Cole in the garden of temptation. She has, understandably, got some trust issues going on with him. However, I’d be more apt to trust Cole than most other figures in this messed-up world, so I’d suggest Piper listen to what he has to say.

Phoebe’s been doing her own thing while her family’s out adventuring. At first she was home base, but then she realizes that she may have a way to solve the problem herself. Neena’s looking for her lost love, so why not find him? That may stop Neena’s relentless pursuit of destruction, right? Well, that’s what Phoebe thinks, so she’s going with that plan. But it’s all about to fall apart, as Paige is sent back unconscious and possibly too far gone to save, while Leo is still stuck in Neena’s grasp and Piper is wanting to find a way out of her imprisonment, too.

The sisters are separated, Leo is lost, and Neena is set to destroy the world. Until next time, we are left to hope that the Charmed Ones can figure a way out of their predicament that doesn’t bring death upon them all.

About the Author
In her youth, Kimberly could be found in the library, devouring books that covered everything from WWII History to Dr. McCoy's latest adventures aboard the Enterprise, with some X-Men thrown in for good measure. Saturdays were often reserved for PBS re-runs of Doctor Who and Red Dwarf. More recently, she's been riding along with the Winchester brothers, and she hopes the Impala doesn't run out of gas for a long time.
