All the President’s Men arrives on Digital and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray on February 17, marking the first time the 1976 political thriller will be available to purchase in 4K resolution. Directed by Alan J. Pakula and written by William Goldman, the film is based on the nonfiction book by Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward and stars Robert Redford and Dustin Hoffman as the Washington Post reporters whose investigation reshaped American history.
The story follows Bernstein and Woodward as they dig into a seemingly minor break-in at the Watergate complex, uncovering a web of deception that ultimately leads to the resignation of President Richard Nixon. The cast also includes Jack Warden, Martin Balsam, Hal Holbrook, and Jason Robards.
Nominated for eight Academy Awards, the film won four, including Best Supporting Actor for Robards and Best Screenplay for Goldman. In 2010, it was selected for preservation in the National Film Registry by the Library of Congress.
The new release includes both new and previously available special features, including All the President’s Men: The Film and its Influence, Woodward and Bernstein: A Journalism Masterclass, and several retrospective featurettes exploring the film’s legacy and impact.
All the President’s Men is available February 17 on Digital and 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray.
