Following an extensive tryout process, Alison Carroll, a gymnast and receptionist from London, has been named the new official Lara Croft. Carroll, 23, will appear as Lara at promotional events surrounding the release of the upcoming Tomb Raider: Underworld game. For what it’s worth, I think she makes a pretty awesome Croft, and her action poses are entirely game-convincing.
