I’m back! After a six month hiatus, I’ve decided to return to the podcast. I’m actually kinda surprised about that, being an introvert, but I realized that despite the editing and stuff it’s actually going to take less of my time to do this than the column would. So here we are!
A couple of notes about some minor changes: I’ve decided to include two or three full songs in each episode rather than just excerpts. That will save me some time in editing, plus it’s probably a better way to promote the music anyway. Second, I’ve also decided to change up the show notes introduction. I’m just going to write a bit about the artist’s most recent release(s) instead of trying to break down what we talked about. You’d be surprised by how much time and effort that takes to do. And finally, I decided to continue the numbering of the episodes rather than restart. I’m not really changing anything too major, so I felt like it just made sense.
In this episode, I talk again to Marc with a C. His latest release is the 10” EP (yes, you should definitely be getting it on vinyl!), Half Serious, Half Kidding, as well as an upcoming vinyl version of his interpretations of songs from the Shock Treatment soundtrack which you can pre-order now. He will also be releasing a new album in 2018 produced by Jordon Zadorozny of Blinker the Star. So keep an eye out for that (and expect him to return when that comes out!).
