I was on the fence about this article. There are so many vampire articles online. But I figured, why not? I like vampires as much as the next fan of the supernatural. Some of my favorite characters are vampires. And when I decided to make this list, it was hard to narrow down the playing field. I didn’t realize how many vampires I did like. And I like the old-fashioned, “I’m a vampire and that’s great” type. I’m okay with some brooding that vampires do, and I like the ones who want to take their immortal existence and do something good with it. Lastly, I had to split this segment into two parts, separated by gender. So, to celebrate Halloween, here are the top ten most crushworthy male vampires.
In no particular order:
1. Lestat de Lioncourt (The Vampire Chronicles)
The Brat Prince is incorrigible and eternally crushworthy. After Dracula, Lestat showed the world what a vampire could be.
2. Angel (Buffy the Vampire Slayer/Angel)
Buffy’s greatest romance won adolescent hearts with his charm and tortured soul routine.
3. Damon Salvatore (The Vampire Diaries)
I always preferred the “bad brother” and his devil-may-care attitude.
4. Alucard (Castlevania)
He may brood, but Alucard was willing to take down his dark progenitor to save the world.
5. Ethan Sullivan (The Chicagoland Vampires)

A cool and collected vampire Merit and company secretly call Darth Sullivan.
6. Marius de Romanus (The Vampire Chronicles)
Marius is probably the most eternally good and caring vampire on this list.
7. Eric Northman (True Blood)
Eric is a vampire who has little care for humans and doesn’t care too much how evil some people think him to be.
8. Bones (The Night Huntress Series)
Bones looks like a fancy British gentleman, but he’s actually a hunter for rogue vampires with an impish sense of humor.
9. Thomas Raith (The Dresden Files)

Thomas is a different type of vampire, but he is no less deadly with the ladies.
10. Mitchell (Being Human)
Mitchell has a potent combination of good and evil struggling inside him that makes him an amazing vampire.
The list was seriously hard to pare down. When I do these lists now, I feel it is necessary to state these are my picks. There are so my series I haven’t checked out yet and I would love to expand my fanged repertoire.
