Over the weekend we learned that Doctor Who’s Karen Gillan will be playing a lead villain in Marvel’s upcoming Guardians of the Galaxy movie, and today word has come down that Benicio Del Toro also is joining the cast. There are no details about whether Del Toro will be a good guy or a bad guy in this one, but Deadline reports that his contract will cover appearances in multiple Marvel movies in much the same way that Samuel L. Jackson’s contract has him playing Nick Fury throughout the franchise. Who could Del Toro be playing in Guardians and other unspecified future Marvel flicks? I’m eager to hear your ideas.
