Hong Kong toymaker Hot Toys is known for their amazing action figure likenesses and ultra cool pack-ins. Even given their own bar-setting level of quality, they still manage to surprise me with their uncannily real products. Take their newest revealed release, for example. The T-800 from Terminator 2 is scheduled for release in the second quarter of 2010, and the images Hot Toys just released on their website are eerily lifelike. It becomes even more impressive when you realize that the figure’s head is sculpted by an artist (Yulli, with art direction by JC Hong) and not life-scanned like many modern action figures.
What do you think? Are these lifelike action figures impressive, creepy, or just downright awesome?
