It’s funny about AS because Stellan Skarsgård is not really that attractive. I dunno what his mom looks like though.

I totally agree about Maryann, I’m over it. Get rid of her! Maybe it’s because we’ve known she’s bad for so long but everyone is being such an oblivious idiot about it that it’s gotten annoying. I *love* dramatic irony but it has its limits.

Add me to the list of people wanting to ship Eric/Godric, although I’m a total slasher at heart so that’s not even remotely surprising. =)

I definitely liked Maryann A LOT when she first showed up. I think it's because of how dumb Tara is around her that makes me not like the character anymore (Tara > Maryann for me). Dallas was pretty drawn out, too! I was interested in Godric and even Isabel, but Dallas as a whole wasn't very interesting (although, I'm wondering if this is the last the Stackhouses will hear of the Newlins?). The delay in the most recent ep recap is totally my fault. I had a cortisone shot in my right hand on Monday that slowed me down a bit (and by a bit, I mean a lot because I was like Chris Elliot in "Scary Movie 2"). It has been submitted and should be posted soon!

The Dallas vampire story line is/was getting tedious for me. Maryanne and all her shaky shenanigans will be missed (by me). Maybe my love of classical history makes me want more Maryanne the Maenad. I half suspect Dionysus will make an appearance and force Maryanne back home, or wherever she came from. Whatever happens, it’ll undoubtedly be super weird. Thanks again for your hysterical reviews. Are you not doing one for this past Sunday’s episode?

Adam: Thank you so much! Bill IS looking very whispy and purple-tinged, now that you mention it. That is so weird.

Also, I could stand to have more Godric/Eric and I’m not a gay man! Those two had great chemistry on screen.

I can’t believe you love Maryann! LOL After Sunday’s ep, I’m so ready for her to be gone, but can’t figure out HOW they’re going to get rid of her.

Wayne, speaking of vampires and haircuts, what in the hell is up with Bill’s hair? It’s very purple all of a sudden…and whispy….and purple….and bangs. Terrible.

And speaking of going Greek, I had so hoped for something a bit more from the Eric/Godric situation. Wishful thinking on my part, I know, but every gay guy who watches True Blood was definitely thinking the same thing.

Very happy Sookie is now emotionally tethered to Eric. Purple Bangs Bill is getting on my nerves.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE Maryanne. She looks like my 4th grade teacher. Scared me then, scares me now. I am so making hunter’s souffle this fall (sans human hearts)….seems like a good choice for an autumnal dinner party.

Chrissie: I’m with you on not caring to watch Sookie anymore. I completely acknowledge that sometimes (*sometimes*), a person needs help from other people. You can’t save yourself all the time or that would be boring and unrealistic. However, having to be saved by someone else all the damn time is considerably more boring to watch (and just irritating for a chick like me to have to sit through another chick behaving like that). Thanks for letting me know about the book version of Maryann. I was wondering how much they had changed her and if she was that big a part in the book. Going back to the kind of character Sookie is, I found it hard to believe that there would be a subplot this huge in the books that had nothing to do with Sookie at all.

Hello yourself HellzBellz! That’s what I’m hearing too! Something about Sookie’s lips all over Eric’s body… I’ve read the books so I have a pretty good idea of what that’s all about. I’m seriously giddy just thinking about Sunday’s episode. Is it sad that I’m 32 and married and still feel like this? I can’t remember ever being this excited for a TV show or an actor. By the way, loved your line about Alex being “one hot mountain of gorgeous Swede.” Too funny.

Summer, I love your reviews! I look forward to them all week. Wayne, you’re not the only pathetic one around here… I loved all the Eric last episode but agree that some shirtless action would have been nice. That man can act! I couldn’t believe how well he pulled off the hick and then went right back to being bada*s vampire sheriff. I’m a Jason fan now too. Hated him last season but this season he’s so hilarious and adorable in clueless-ness. Is that a word? I’m over Sookie and Bill too…SOOO BORING. Can’t wait for things to heat up with Sookie and Eric because I’m hoping it means more Eric screen time and less Bill. Maybe Sookie will be less annoying if she’s with Eric too.
Can’t wait for this Sunday’s episode because I hear there’s some REALLY good stuff happening. I won’t give anything away but we just may see Eric with his shirt off after all…
