I think one of the understated mentions in this episode is of Sammy's intelligence. He completed the New York Times Saturday crossword. It's a very subtle "hey, remember, he went to Stanford on a scholarship after being tossed around from school to school his entire life. Sammy is smart!" And, okay, showing off the tattoo didn't hurt the ep either ;) I have a noted weakness when the boys flash their tats. I can't help it.
