Chuck Dixon and Mike S. Miller To Adapt Wheel Of Time

The previously announced Wheel of Time comic book adaptation, in production at Dabel Brothers and based on the bestselling epic fantasy novels by the late Robert Jordan, now has a creative team. Chuck Dixon will be writing the series with Mike S. Miller on art duties. Dixon is a longtime comics favorite, having helmed many Batman series throughout the 1990’s and creating the Birds of Prey team and comic book at DC. Miller is no stranger to adapting fantasy novels to comics, as he was the artist on George R. R. Martin’s Hedge Knight series, a spinoff story from the Song of Ice and Fire fantasy novel series.

The Wheel Of Time Adapted As Comic Book

Robert Jordan’s epic fantasy novels, The Wheel of Time, are making the move to comic books as Dabel Brothers Publishing has announced that they will be adapting the series with the blessing of Jordan’s widow and editor, Harriet McDougal. Dabel Brothers worked with Jordan himself to adapt the Wheel of Time prequel A New Spring into comics in 2005, so they’re the natural choice to adapt the main series as well. The first issue will be published in December.
