
Marvel’s Secret Invasion crossover continues to build this week, and New Avengers #40 introduces us to the face our the enemy, shows us exactly how the invasion came about, and even gives us a potentially huge reveal. Read on for the review, replete with spoilers.

Secret Invasion is hitting full stride now, with multiple tie-ins releasing each week. This week saw the release of Mighty Avengers #12, as well as Ms. Marvel #26. I’ll be reviewing both of them (as well as a few other un-Skrully titles that hit this week), but Mighty Avengers is up first with a story that is comprised entirely of a very welcome flashback and the return of a much missed Marvel character.


Captain Marvel #5 released this past week, and it has some pretty significant revelations regarding the ongoing Skrull invasion of the Marvel universe, not to mention yet another Skrull-as-Marvelite confirmation. Read on for the review, complete with spoilers.

Blair Butler interview Brian Michael Bendis on G4’s Attack of the Show yesterday about Marvel’s Secret Invasion event. He had some interesting things to say about planning the invasion and its aftermath, and the interview ends with some words of warning about the status quo of the Marvel Universe.

Issue #1 of Secret Invasion hit the stands today, and once again, the Marvel Universe is shaken to its core.

The infiltration continues with the final Ms. Marvel before the invasion fully kicks in with this weeks release of Secret Invasion #1. Ms. Marvel #25 answered a few questions about the Skrull epidemic and also raised a few more questions.

Marvel’s next big event, Secret Invasion, launches with issue #1 on Wednesday, and I’ll be following the twists and turns of the plot here. There’s already been a lot of lead-up, with back-story going back into the annals of Marvel Comics.

Love it or hate it, the Skrulls are invading the Marvel Universe. The invasion is upon us with Secret Invasion #1 releasing next Wednesday, and Marvel has an animated webisode that sets the stage for the conflict.
