    I want to win!

I’d also like to recommend “Death’s Daughter” by Amber Benson.

  2. Mary Says:

Oh man, only one fantasy novel recommendation? This is going to be hard.

Okay, I got it, Archangel (Samaria, Book 1) by Sharon Shinn. It’s an older novel, I first read it back in 1997. Attending Catholic school, I was already aware that angels were badass warriors and not these soft toilet paper commercial beings, Touched by an Angel would lead the population to believe.

But Sharon Shinn brings the warrior angel mythos home with this novel.

This is the first of a four book series, called Samaria series. If you enjoy seeing badass angels in an alternate world doing badass things, check it out.

    Ooh free books!

I’m super excited for _Guardian of the Dead_ by Karen Healey http://www.karenhealey.com/books/guardian-of-the-dead/

I am really a hardcore SciFi reading but I have been trying to branch out to fantasy.
My favs so far is the Dresden File series. I started the series after I came across the TV series. I couldn’t stop and now I am jonesing for the newest book.
Another author that I enjoyed is Robert Conroy. His Alternative history is so good. Titles are 1945, 1862, and 1901. Lots of What ifs. Very good.
I am not sure if alternative history is fantasy or scifi?
Also, I like Julie Kenner’s Carpe Demon: Adventures of Demon-Hunting Soccer Mom (Kate Connor, Bk 1). If you are a Buffy Fan, this series is for you.

  5. Harry Badface Says:

Highly recommend Minister Faust’s “Coyote Kings and the Space Age Bachelor Pad

  6. Marisa Says:

I would definitely recommend Teresa Thomlinson’s – Moon Riders. Nothing like putting Troy in perspective with the involvement of the Amazon woman.

  7. Jeff Says:

Try Ariel, by Stephen Boyett. A good read.

  8. Chris Says:

I recommend The Talisman by Stephen King and Peter Straub.

  9. Cara Powers Says:

I realized it’s not Urban Fantasy, but you really must read Pallidan of Souls by Lois McMaster Bujold.

  10. Diana Says:

Currently nuts about the Allie Beckstrom series by Devon Monk! http://devonmonk.com/books.asp

  11. Susan Meek Says:

    I’d really like to win!
Gotta agree with “Ariel” by Boyett. Or, “Maledicte” by Lane Robins. Too many good ones out there to just recommend one :)

  12. Beth Says:

What a great bundle of books. =)

My recommend any of the fantasy books Patricia Briggs has written but I would pick Raven’s Strike. (The second book to that is Raven’t Shadow)

  13. Melissa T Says:

I’m hoping we’re counting urban fantasy as fantasy? *g* Because I would recommend Jaye Wells’ ‘Red-Headed Step Child’. Once you’re past the (slightly silly but appropriate) name, it’s an awesome book with a truly unique take on vampires. (And before I read it, I honestly didn’t think there WAS such a thing as a unique take on vampires.)

If you want more traditional fantasy, then Peter V Brett’s ‘The Warded Man’ is most excellent.

  14. Melissa (My World) Says:

I don’t know if you have read Three Days to Dead by Kelly Meding yet, but it is a really good read. I really enjoyed it.

I would love to enter for this bundle.

I am heading over to tweet this contest. Thank you!

I recommend The Better Part of Darkness by Kelly Gay.

  16. Hesketh Crane Says:

I recommend Strange Seed, by T.M. Wright. An odd book, well worth reading.

  17. Rebecca Ball Says:

I’d like to win and i’d recommend ‘King of Sword and Sky’ by C.L. Wilson

This is one in the series, they’re all good.

  18. Anna Mekus Says:

I like fantasy AND romance, so ‘The Magician and Mrs. Quent’ by Gaelen Beckett was fun for me.

  19. Ahktar Niamut Says:

Quite some amazing novels in the bundle pack by my recommendation is gonna be Under the Heaven by gavriel kay even if it’s classified as historical fantasy

  20. Opal Baker Says:

Ember Rising Light by C.K.Mullinax.I am reading it at the present time.
