Stereotypes are in no way a bad thing. I think for the target audience this book will be a perfect read. For someone like myself who reads constantly, the stereotypes ring as familiar entities but not as characters themselves 100%. I definitely see the characters all being able to grow into themselves as the series progresses and I look forward to that.

This sounds like a fun read. I think stereotypes can make for a much lighter read, which is not always a bad thing.
